Barely pushing 6 foot, Andy hardly stands out of the crowd. Be it literally or figuratively. Moderately handsome yet strong features highlight a life of miscellaneous labor. Topped off by a head of light brown hair that has all the charm of a rabid flesh-eating sheep; and like one is only occasionally tackled down and shaven.
Complete lack of ability to sense hot or cold due to faulty cryo-storage. As such, Holly installed a temperature montior screen into his lower wrist. Should the Scizophenic timer ever run down Andy will pass out on the spot: a common sight in the more warm areas of the ship. Don't be surprised to see him tip buckets of water over his head in a panic, either.
Personality and Interests
Drawing an amazingly fine line between lower-class and homeless, Andy maintains an optimistic albeit quiet personality. Polite, benevolent and possessed of a snarky sense of humor, Andy tries his best to duck and cover in most situations upon Blue Dwarf.
Andy is a man of few talents and even fewer interests. He's ambled through life without ambition and even less thought for the future. His primary hobbies in life are staying alive. Also has few qualms about stealing (read: hacking) to eat.
His skill in stealing in a modern age has branched over into the more dubious aspects of it. Attaining an affinity to hacking, he was at first taught by an old 'Hoboess' ASCII. However thanks to an Alien intelligence-enhancer, this skill does not stop at only human devices but practically any technology that has a current through it. Despite his skill, he is quick to guard the secrets of his abilities for fear of alienation and prosecution. Rightfully so, as more than a few times his forced attempts has caused the powers that be to focus themselves upon him (and Blue Dwarf).
Job familiarization had afforded Andy proficiency with both volatile chemicals and mining lasers (mostly Bazookoids.)
History

Andy drew a blank. That was his life in a nutshell
Andy Roos is an Australian man who had nothing going for him besides what he can do with his hands. No aspirations, no qualifications; simply shooting the breeze as it was day-in day-out for his 23 years of life.
Andy's history up until the Blue Dwarf can be summed up as thus. Boy is poor, scientist finds boy, offered a million in cash to get himself frozen. Boy accepts, is frozen, they forgot how to unfreeze him. Boy gets passed down scientist chain, boy is eventually (and illegally) shoved onto mining ship Red dwarf for cheaper fares. 50 years later, AI finds discrepancy, AI Spaces discrepancy. Discrepancy found by Blue Dwarf.

Important notes about Andy:
- Thanks to Krylon technology, he had a freakish ability to hack just about anything he sees. human or not.
- Was a notorious but well-meaning hacker ('Hal') before he was frozen
- ...who also managed to wipe out a mega-corporation
- ...and take down planet eBay for a good four days, afterwards
- An unknown entity known as 'Potential' has taken a shine towards him, if only because Andy has a tendency to do things that are 'random' in it's eyes.
- Once had a host of 'Nano-Skutters' that he considered family. All of them were killed for the above entity's amusement. Andy believes that Jed Calvert was responsible.
- Andy was raised in an orphanage which burnt down, only he survived.
- It was and is still unknown how or, quite possibly who started the fire.
- In his final moments it was revealed that it was he who stared the fire. A horrifically backfired plan to make himself look like a hero so that the other kids would accept him.
- Rather than save him his own life and join them, Andy's final act was to destroy the Genocidal Krylon warmachines. With this he finally redeemed himself in his own eyes for his crimes. Shame that no one will ever know of his sacrifice.
