She went to a lot of great schools but because she looks diffrent she got in to a lot of fights, she then moved out of the adoped parentsto make it on her own she went to college surportng her self by selling anything her boss wants her to, she worked for a super hyper market, her looks got her far, she then went to uni where she met her first love a teacher who introduced her to the arts and old films and also booze, she relised it wouldn't work out when she caught him kissing the head master, she then graduted and broken harted went for a job which helps train new officers, her parants were not happy that she wanted to be a officer, when she passed she was assigned to a new ship [blue dwarf] and from there the rest is history.
