Physical Appearance
John Keats, about 6' and a strong build. His messy brown hair covers most of his head but by far his most striking facial feature are his deep blue eyes, which hide his current emotion with a glazed appearance. His muscular build isnt impressive, but neither is he weedy, growing up in neo Stroud gave him a hard edge and nack with locks, firearms and dishonest fighting...
He sports an amazing collection of scars as well, ranging from gun shot wounds, to laser burns to sword slashes, however, they ARE all on his back.Hes not the bravest soul out there, but he wont hold back a punch when he does fight.
Personality and Interests
Happy go lucky is the best way to describe Keats. His obsession with 20th century Flying machines got to its peak when he stole a Mig from the British War museum at the tender age of 17. This is rumoured to still be missing, even tho there have been extensive sweeps of Earth and nearby developed Planets and luner areas....
Although stable, recent events have given him an... odd menatallity, tho Jack, his friend and room mate keeps him firmly stuck to reality, even if it DOES mean needing to whip out some glue.
As a person he is friendly and easy to get on with, well, if you can ignore the random blatherings.. oh yes, and also, he REALLY cant take his drink to well.... He always has a little momento of his closest friend, Jack F.. Jack, JUST Jack.. Anyway, his 'Quantum Unified Ionised Chrono-Kapacitating Yariometer' (Quicky) Hipflask, from when Jack was more than JUST Jack... Keats is the proud owner of 'The Endymion' a modified 20th century Mig-25 that has been alterd by Joseph Severn to be space worthy and the closest thing The Poenix has for a contender for speed, although if its shields are penetrated.. its armour would be asbout as good as wet tissus.. All in all a manic, messy haired, but strangely lucky pilot....
As revealed recently, he has a rather unique brain pattern, Neurons in his head that usually spark to give off emotions have formed ganglions, and spark off randomly, although he rarely shows the effect, it does mean that he has no defining emotion at any one time, and thus, Cant be effected by those annoying Polymorphing G.E.L.F.S
History
Keats is a born and breed pilot from the streets of Neo Stroud where a high level of drugs (at last count, 115% of the population where hooked on various stimulants, depressants and household detergents..) could quickly absorb any potential dreams, luckily, Keats never sucame to these temptations.
In Neo Stroud he learnt the skills he needed to survive in life, a quick hand, smooth talking and the notorious 'Friendly Handshake'. Ever since he was old enough to casually swear in public (about 5) hes also been hooked on Total Imersion Flight simulators, theres not a plane, shuttle or freighter he cant handle, from the Battle of britain to the various sorties in space, hes seen them, been there, and flown there... This is what lead to him 'Joining' the JMC.
He didnt go to the acadamy like normal folk. Instead he got a mate to fake him a pass rate in advanced Bug Manouvers and was quickly Whisked into the JMC Blue Dwarf where he met Jack again.
He hasnt yet been found out by the Company or the Crew... Recently, after the release of the Love Virus onto the Blue Dwarf, Keats fel into an inflatuation with Amber Febuggre, which, after a drunken night, led to their marriage, however, due to Events that will occur in the future, and then wanton to keep Phil from inserting lead pipes into his skull, theyve been keeping it a tad hush hush, scrap that, VERY hush hush. Tho, the Virus still resides in the complex artwork of his brain, as a result, he just cant stop thinking of her, bummer.
