Lived in middlesbrough until the sea scum actually developed is own society and the locals decided to join it. Signed up to the space corps as an escape route from joining her fathers business (an electrical engineering company, electrical items appear to hate her) but thoroughly enjoys looking after the insane (it reminds her of home). Joined Blue Dwarf after hearing of it's mission to absolutely no where and thinking 'meh, what the smeg'. Nikki has recently changed her name back to her maiden name. Although she was never married she was pressured into taking Baines as her surname.
