Physical Appearance
He's of medium height, just under 5 foot 10 with a full head of brown hair, coupled with a pointy brown goatee and twirled mustache. He has one blue, one green eye and a longish face, complete with near permanent dazed expression.
He wears a strange black suit with dark black collar frills and wrist cuffs, over which he has a near pristine white doctor's jacket which reaches down to just above his knees, Shakespeare's breast pocket always contains a small green 15cm ruler.
Personality and Interests
Lawrence is a firm beliver that he is the reincarnation of William Shakespeare.
As such his apperance, speech and mannerism are as though from the Middle Ages. He is a warm, funny, but generally baffling character due to his strange massacring of the English language; adding
'eth', 'st' and other fake mediavel suffics to the ends of words. He does this in the hopes it makes him sound authentic.
Shakespeare is a very chatty character, (to those that stay talking to him for longer than a few seconds) and has a supreme love of playwrighting.
Despite legal documents stating his real name, He will only respond to William or Shakespeare and has no memory of the life he led before his appearance in a space hopper.
Despite his mental state and love for all this medievil, Shakespeare is a highly able, often amazing, and skilled surgeon with a near perfect success record.
History
Lawrence Trisees enroled in the 'Jupiter mining core medical program' soon after being found unconscious in the back of a space hopper with a bunch of medical diploma's, a wallet filled with nothing but packets of sugar, some burnt clothes, and a particlaurly nasty gash alongside the top of his head at the age of 18.
Once awoken, Trisees found himself to explain how or why he had gotten there and it was discovered that he was suffering from an exceptionally severe form of amnaesia; not even the best drugs could revive his fried mental state. The only thing Trisees could state for certain was that he happened to be the late, great playwright William Shakespeare- able to recite everything the sixteenth century bard had created.
According to 'Shakespeare' he'd been living in England quite happily when suddenly he found himself implanted several thousands of years later in the middle of a Neptunian hospital with no idea why he was suddenly there. The hospital, unsure what to do with Shakespeare, enrolled him in the medical service inititate program aboard the Jupiter Mining Core Training Ship with another medical student called Doctor Charles Keto.
The two were paired together against Keto's will and formed a forced friendship. Whilst working together as trainee students, they discovered their callings- Shakespeare's being surgery.
At 25 'Shakespeare' was promoted upwards into the rank of Medical Chief due to his technical expertise in his field, but was unable to rise any higher due to his severely crippled mental beliefs.
Despite such promising talent, his middle english mindset destroyed any chance of an award winning career and after many months of unemployment he wound up on a lonely travelling freighter ferrying cargo back and forth from neptune to mercury. It was here he remained the chief medical officer until he made a claim that the captain was 'under thy evil spell ofeth Satan, for whichest we must haveth the lobotomy!'
Shakespeare was demoted and reassigned to the Blue Dwarf by the J.M.C. who felt he couldn't be much hassle on their 'Black Sheep' of the Fleet.
However, this proved to be far from the truth of the matter and in the five years he has been in service a lot has happened to Shakespeare.
It's been roughly eight months since he was heard or seen of from the crew and he has been all but forgotten about...
