Personality and Interests
Alistair is very much the figure of a jetsetting playboy - he is witty, handsome, charming and highly intelligent.
However, beneath the surface lurks a whole different side to his personality. A man of few morales, he will deliberately perform experiments of create inventions that many would call unethical, immoral or just plain old against God. These people seem to shut up and disappear very quickly.
When not inventing or revolutionising science, Doctor Withnail enjoys jazz music, fine wine and marijuana.
History
Born into the well-to-do Withnail family in 2068, Alistair enjoyed a comfortable childhood and upbringing in his family's home of Withnail Manor, Kent. The Withnails were known as respectable members of the aristocracy, but behind closed doors his mother was a raging alcoholic and his father was having an affair with the butler.
At age 18, to further his goals of making himself (even more) rich, he enroled as a student of physics at Oxford University. Over the next ten years, he spent his time at many other universities(amongst them Cambridge, Harvard, Yale and Hull) and increased his scientific knowledge to become a renaissance man of science. Well versed in physics, chemistry, biology, robotics, genetic engineering and cloning, he used his knowledge to build a small personal empire - he won the Noble Prize in all subjects in 2101 where he invented a device that allowed takeaway to be delivered by email.
However, after incriminating photographs of him selling plutonium to terrorists, his empire collapsed and he has been forced to join the Space Corps to make ends meet. However, the universe hasn't seen the last of Alistair Withnail, and he has plans to restore his fortunes.
