Physical Appearance
Chris is approximately six foot, four inches. He has short brown hair which is growing steadily longer, it now covers his icy blue eyes that are occasionally covered by his glasses when he can be bothered to wear them.
Despite his ressurection, a fairly small but very clear scar is left just above his abdomen from where he was murdered many years ago. Although he should be old enough to have an eighteen year old daughter now, he has only the physical appearance and age of a twenty-five year old, but has the mental age of an early fourty year old. There is also a large scar down his left shoulder from when he was attacked by a man wielding a sword several years hence.
Personality and Interests
After Phoenix Fire was used to ressurect him, he was given the same strength and agility as the former Jack with an unaltered knowledge. He very rarely chooses to use the strength that he aquired during phoenix fire, as he dislikes the idea of being thought to be 'special'.
Chris is generally a very rational person, but there can sometimes be random outbreaks of anger that he has no power to control. He used to have an interest in women which gradually died down after he met Kanako FeBuggre, half-sister of Jack FeBuggre, a man who Chris has come to regard as a fairly close friend over the One and a Half years that he has served on the Blue Dwarf.
The fact that he has a knowledge above what people would expect of him can sometimes cause a friction between him and other members of Blue Dwarf, as he is sometimes more arrogant than a lot of people when he believe he is right, because he believes that he is intellectually superior to other people.
On most occasions however, he is right, though, not always, as he is arrogant enough to believe. The arrogance which he possesses is only flared up when somebody questions his intelligence, which, thankfully, isn't that often.
After being slashed by a sword before he was murdered, Chris developed a fascination for swords which would last a lifetime, even until he met Jack, who became somewhat of a role model for him in his early stages of Blue Dwarf, with perhaps, a little more intelligence. He is now a close friend of Chris, rather than a role model, but the spirit remains the same due to the fact that Chris carrys Jack's GunBlade wherever he goes, and uses it when necessary. Jack gave Chris his GunBlade after he lost his eye, and his depth-perception along with it, rendering it virtually useless to him.
History
Chris' childhood was entwined within a veil of death and destruction. He was one year old when both his parents were killed in a shuttle crash. For the next fifteen years he would call this place home.
Upon his sixteenth birthday he left the orphanage to become a boarding student at his secondary school for A-levels if you can call them that, they were somewhat different to twenty-first century A-levels, but he took them all the same. Taking Piloting, Navigation, Security and Field Medication, he became interested in a JMC academy.
After leaving the boarding school aged 18, he inherited his parents house, where he lived for a year by himself before he left for the JMC academy. There he gained further qualifications in the same fields that he had taken for A-level as well as taking a small course for himself so that he could learn to fix the ship that he hoped to own one day in the future.
After this, he left the academy and applied for a position as Navigation officer on Red Dwarf. There he was rejected, a far more experienced person, namely Christine Kochanski got the place and he was thankful of that after the ship's disappearance not long into its mission.
He stayed at home for two years, where he met a young girl who took his breath away, one year later they were married, and Sophie had the child from her previous marriage, and they called her Melissa. Sophie, being fairly rich was also fairly well known, she, unfortunately wasn't as safe as she thought she was. As she and Chris were leaving a restaraunt one day, she was shot, falling into Chris' arms as she died she whispered with her dying breath "Look after Melissa". Chris tried to look after Melissa for the six months after her death but Chris still couldn't quite get to grips with it. He left he with her Grandparents as he left to join the JMC, hoping to forget all about it.
The first ship that he was officially assigned to was the JMC White Dwarf, an earlier design configuration of the Blue Dwarf. There, 5 years into their mission, Chris was brutally stabbed and passed away in a large pool of his own blood, he never knew who the murderer was. After he was brought back as a hologram, Chris stayed at the White Dwarf for a while, years in fact, though the identity of his killer was never discovered.
He learnt to live with the fact that he was probably never going to discover the identity of his killer, and proceeded with his life as normal, being granted the rank of head pilot & navigation officer while still aboard the White Dwarf.
After thirteen years service with the JMC on the White Dwarf, Chris decided it was time to go and visit his daughter back on Earth, and explain everything that had happened. She would be seventeen now, he thought to himself, and believed that she had a right to know who she was, and why her father hadn't been there for her. Chris however, didnt find her, six months he searched for her, and in those six months he didnt even find a trace of her. He didnt give up hope however, he knew that one day they would be re-united, no matter what. He was right to believe it too, approximately one year after he joined the JMC Blue Dwarf, the place that he now calls home, not only was he ressurected through a secret process known as phoenix fire, which made him possess superhuman strength, cunning and agility; but he finally found his daughter, who signed up to the blue dwarf after leaving school at sixteen and training for two years as a Nurse with the JMC.
Before his step-daughter joined Blue Dwarf however, Jack's half-sister Kanako, the same age as Chris's step-daughter, eighteen, Joined the Blue Dwarf. To begin with, things were very frayed between Kanako and Chris, and it seemed to be clear to many that they despised each other from the moment they set eyes on each other. This however, was wrong. After Kanako decieved Chris into falling for her not too long after this, the two gradually became closer and closer until, first thing Christmas morning. Chris proposed to Kanako, and have been due to marry for nearly seven months now, whether it will happen or not is another matter.
