All contact is lost with the JMC Red Dwarf

The JMC Red Dwarf disappears.

Unknown to Earth command, the drive-plates were not sealed properly and the entire crew die of radiation poisoning. The ship drifts into unknown space.

The only surviver is a man named Dave Lister, who is safely sealed in the stasis chamber. But he won't be released for another 3 million years.

The JMC Blue Dwarf starts its mission

The newly commissioned mining ship the JMC Blue Dwarf sets off from Jupiter Station to find the lost Red Dwarf.

Captain Cannon and Commander Niples meet for the first time in years, Niples is still bitter that Cannon got promoted ahead of him.

Starbug surveys a planet

The Blue Dwarf finds a planet which might contain raw materials to mine. They go down to investigate but the Starbug was sabotaged by the 'Clarkson Brethren' and they crash. Private Donnover gets eaten by a giant worm.

Niples gets attacked by a robot. Not much else happens.

The Blue Dwarf is invaded by a gand of mercenaries working for 'Bob' who happens to be Frank Harris' brother. The invaders took over half of the ship and wired the Seft-destruct bomb to a remote control. Luckily the Captain's intelligent pet rat Bobo and his friends moved the bomb to Bob's ship. After flushing the goons out using methane gas Bob used the remote control, blowing up his own ship 'The Black Nova'.

While investigating an abandoned ship, Harris' security team bring back a family of 5 polymorphs to the Blue Dwarf. After a rather bizarre set of events with certain crewmembers loosing emotions, the remaining polymorph's merge into a huge beast which is killed by a new weapon developed by the science dept.

With half of the ship destroyed from the inside by polymorphs (even MacDonalds) the Blue Dwarf docks at Proxima orbital Poultry facility to rebuild. A mysterious abandoned lab is found below the populated decks where a GE mutant chicken roams free. A team from the BD chase the chicken "Marjorie" onto the BD where it commits suicide by jumping into a MacDonalds meat-masher. 

The Blue Dwarf gets a first fleeting glimpse of the Hymenoptera

Due to a dopey sensor operator, the BlueDwarf narrowly missed destruction when it crashed into an asteroid field.

Not all is lost as they discover a distress buoy nearby with coordinates to a nearby planet.

As a Starbug is sent to retrieve the buoy, the Blue Dwarf experiences a power loss and a large, black, spider-like ship is seen taking a close look at them. Niples thinks it is aliens but there are no sensor scans to prove it. 

Ffion is destroyed

An away team go down to the planet called "Ffion" which used to be a paradise, but is now wasteland due to being wiped out by a race of large insects. A Blue Midget, a Starbug and Chief Doctor Van Threk are eaten by the insects.

An alien called Efof Yuw'anker is discovered to be the only survivor in stasis. Security Officer Doom Harbinger correctly predicts the demise of the planet when a huge bug mothership is beamed into the centre of the planet, causing it to explode.

The away team get back to the Blue Dwarf and have a party.

Space Eagle

The BD docks at the Space Core Vega 22 Combat Station. After a minor accident involving some kind of explosion, a scientist Zack Jarvis is sacked from the station and joined the BD.

Commander Niples gets one of his dreams come true when the Space Core give the BD a new fighter-craft, the "Space Eagle" to play with.

Harris' security team are challenged to a paintball tournament against the Space Core marines. Thanks to some "Hamster burrowing" the BD team win.

The new Dimension drive is used to transport the ship into a parallel dimension where everything appears 'nice'. An away team goes to the BD's alterego - the peace ship Blue Dwarf. Another nice ship The "Fatba" quickly appears to purge the galaxy from all evil so destroys the nice BD in order to kill our away team. Suddenly, an evil BD jumps in using a dimension drive of its own and scares the Fatba away. The warship BD almost destroys the normal BD until a team of people from the normal BD send a bomb over to the warship. The gorgeous Penny Lloyd is killed trying to destroy the warship.
