The Blue Dwarf rescues Jed Calvert, who is dying of radiation poisoning.

Jay launches his plan to couple the Wormhole Drive up to the Time Fridge and go back in time to stop Earth from being destroyed. They go back in time and have 48 hours to stop the Hymenoptera. They accidentally bring three Space Corps ships back with them, who were chasing them to take Jay into custody. An away mission consisting of many Canaries boards and takes over a Hymenopteran battleship the “Scorpion”, one of the best in the enemies fleet. The crew struggle to fly the craft as it is controlled by smells. They crash this ship into Evil Jay's mothership the “thorax”.

Seymour and Jenny agree to call their baby Alota, after Jay's wife and the former Captain who died at the hands of the Hymenoptera.

The dying Jed Calvert meets his former self in this timeline and persuades him to change his future so that he will not die the same way. He crashes his trading ship into the belly of the Thorax and him and his crew join the assault team from the Blue Dwarf. His crashed ship had gallons of alcohol in it's hold, so Peter Marwood connected a pipe and prepared to flood the entire ship until Amber stopped him, realising that this might kill the past versions of Jay and herself. They make their way to the bridge and Jay has to fight the Evil version of himself to save Earth and his wife. Unfortunately Alota is killed in exactly the same way as last time, but they are able to stop the weapon from destroying the Earth.

The assault team on the Thorax flee in Jed Calvert's ruined transport ship the JMC Fools Gold. The Thorax is destroyed by some dynamite Jed left. As the damaged ship is flying back to the Blue Dwarf, the Scorpion comes to attack them, trying to grab it with it's large black claws.

On the Blue Dwarf, the crew start seeing ghostly figures. One brandishes a clipboard with the letters SCTP. They find out that they are from the Space Corps Temporal Police, who are investigating the changes to the timeline.

Jed's ship the JMC Fools Gold crash lands in the shuttlebay, with the remaining Hymenopteran fleet not far behind.

The SCTP hit the Blue Dwarf with a temporal weapon and a woman named Dawn Keebals appeared in the Drive Room and spoke to Acting-Captain Phil Febuggure. She says the SCTP are impounding the Blue Dwarf in “null space” for messing with the timeline. Phil argues that they have saved millions of lives but Dawn disappears, leaving the Blue Dwarf in null space, where normal rules of physics don't apply.

After a short time where extremely random and unbelievable things happen, Dawn Keebals re-appears and lets the Blue Dwarf exist in this timeline. They see Earth for the first time and are approached by a Space Corps vessel. Acting-Captain Febuggure is nervous as the last time they saw Space Corps ships, they were out to catch them. This time they want to praise them for saving Earth. The crew are treated like celebrities for a short time until their next mission.

The Blue Dwarf is sent to an area of space Called the Nouveau Terran sector. It has planets named after major cities from Earth, colonised by members of the appropriate nationality. It is explained that the planet New Texas supplies fuel to all the planets in the sector, but as this fuel source is running out, the planets are fighting over the remaining fuel.

The Blue Dwarf is given an entire squadren of Space Eagles

A whole squadron of Space Eagles is given to the Blue Dwarf, so it has many not just one! They come in useful when the Blue Dwarf has to kill the massive space-dwelling creature guarding the entrance to the Nouveau Terran sector.

The Captain tries to earn some money on the side by taking on a simple job to transport some onions to Nouveau Francais, but the mission gets hijacked when some Welsh terrorists plant bombs in the Blue Dwarf's cargo bay and take some crewmembers hostage. Gaining Jed's attention, the terrorists explain that they want more shares of the space-fuel, and threaten their hostages. Jed turns the situation on its head by threatening their planet with a ship-to-surface missile. An away team goes to the Welsh planet to rescue the hostages.

A suicide Welsh pilot crashes his shuttle into a large pipeline that pumps essential fuel from New Texas to Nouveau-Francais, Marwood is unable to stop him in time.

Seymour meets with the French government who accuse the Blue Dwarf for planning an invasion, when the French Prime Minister turns into a large chicken. Chicken flu spreads across the planet and there is nothing the Blue Dwarf crew can do to stop it. Peter Marwood and kevn find a book in a cargo container of smuggled weapons about the disease, covered with many swastikas, Marwood shows this to Captain Calvert only.

The French suspect the Blue Dwarf of holding illegal weapons so surround and search the ship much to everyone's annoyance.

French turrets over the city of Paris on the planet 'Nouveau-Francais'

The French General Bogarde confronts the crew with his findings and beams off every single weapon and piece of ammunition off the ship. Everyone is very angry about this, especially Calvert who decks the General and orders Mk.8 to insert things into him.

The crew discuss ways to get their weapons back, and decide to paint their Starbugs in French colours and enlist in the French army. They make their way to the capitol city of Paris, having to cross a large river by hurling themselves across by trebuchet.

General Bogarde starts bombing his own people to try and stop the spread of the infectious chicken flu.

Seymour and Eric Lustbader spend a month in prison before they are rescued by Mk8 and Trisees, unfortunately during when he was showering. The naked Seymour is almost killed by Jenny, who has been paid by Jed to capture Seymour and deliver him to his enemies for a tidy sum of money. Mk8 and Trisees stop her.

The away team find where the weapons are being held and take them back, whilst the French General admits that the Blue Dwarf is innocent and asks the crew for their help. 

To create the cure for the French “Chicken Flu”, rare ingredients have to be gathered. The crew are spread across the sector to gather the various ingredients. Seymour gets infected with the disease and turns into a large chicken, he is held in captivity for his own safety.

On New Russia, Jay, Jesse, Efof and Rufus get caught in a blizzard and are chased by a siberian hamster.

On New Hawaii, Amber, Keto, Peter and Shakespeare get drunk in a bar and wake up together. The confusion and dread continues until they see the security footage showing that nothing sinister happened.

On New Japan, Jack Febuggure battles a megalomaniac named Boushuku who wanted to shrink everyone if he didn't receive payment in one billion Nu-Yen. Jack foils his plan but dies from his injuries.

Keto comes back to the Blue Dwarf to find that his medibay has moved to a different deck, which he is not happy about. He puts all the ingredients together and creates the cure for the Chicken Flu.

The Blue Dwarf near Mars

The cure for the Chicken Flu virus is distributed amongst the planet Nouveau-Francais and everyone is cured.

The Blue Dwarf is then attacked by a fleet of metallic spaceships covered in swastikas similar to the markings on the book Marwood and Kevn had found a while ago, detailing the Chicken Flu virus. These ships are robotic and are obviously objecting to the crew curing the French. Unable to use the Wormhole Drive to escape, they resort to burning MP's soiled pants as fuel and rocketing out of the sector by doing an incredibly tight turn around a small moon.

The crew get shore leave and take it on the terraformed Mars, which is now has many idyllic beach resorts.

Keto cures Seymour, who turns back into a human in his cage. Shocked to find that he has laid an egg, Seymour is almost as shocked when Dr Keto starts taking photos of his naked body and uses them the blackmail him. Keto's demands are for Seymour to give him Queen Brittany's personal cruse ship, a sleek craft that is like a plush, cosy mansion inside.

On Mars, a man named Igor has been experimenting on people and threw the dead bodies into a quarry. The dead bodies started to animate after they were discarded.

A zombie on Mars

Zombies attack the Blue Dwarfers during a beauty competition, and force the crew to barricade themselves in a pub.

Seymour steals Queen Brittany's personal cruiser for Dr Keto with the help of Chris Harris. Harris turns out to be in league with the Queen, who had planned to steal the ship for insurance fraud. They are chased by the police to Mars, where they crash into the surface and meet other Blue Dwarf crewmembers in the pub.

Entering a trapdoor in the pub, the crewmembers find some odd-looking vehicles in the basement and give chase to the mysterious Igor character. They catch him up and torture him, learning of a gothic castle where his “master” lives.

The away team fight against an all-out zombie attack, and some follow Igor to the castle, which is some booby-trapped house of horrors. The other half of the team go shopping at ASDA, only to find it full of more zombies. Evil Phil's ship crashes into ASDA (destroying the delicatessen) and Mini-Phil and Evil-Phil get out.

The mastermind in the castle who is behind the zombie invasion is revealed to be the robotic brain-in-a-jar form of Charles Keto. He imprisons Tara, Jay, Katrina and his brother Xavier Keto and tells that the zombies are his failed attempts at growing himself a compatible body.

Mk9, Phil and Seymour manage to rescue the prisoners and overthrow the insane Charles Keto-bot.  He disappears mysteriously after his assistant Igor is killed.  

The hallucination virus discovered in 2101 is unleashed again as it had been developed as a weapon and accidentally released. Strange things happen and anything the crewmembers imagine comes to life. Jay becomes a superhero, Keto is plagued by staples that attach his shoelaces to the floor, and Tara sees ex-crewmembers Lt Commander Captain Whitewolf and Captain Alota. Jay has to explain to his late wife that he has a new girlfriend, but never stopped loving her.

Seymour discovers he has been robbed, and goes to the security department to find the CCTV tapes. Mini-Phil turns into a large muscle-bound monster and throws him around. He discovers it was a stowaway named Rosette who has been breaking into his apartment and drinking his wine.

Tara accidentally imagines the Evil version of Jay, who appears on the Promenade weilding a katana, followed by an army of Hymenoptera, Plebian spider-robots and a polymorph. Also, for some reason, Barney the Dinosaur, and a platoon of Morris Dancers.

The virus is eventually cured by Dr Keto giving everyone injections. 

Jed and Eddie decide to rob a freight train “the pluto express” to capture the “idol of chantico”, a precious relic that they had almost stolen once before in their past.

Rosette eventually persuades Seymour to let her stay with him, which he accepts tentatively. After a few days she drives him mad because she doesn't share his high standards of living.

The Blue Dwarf helps out a lone craft, and invites the pilot onboard. It turns out to be a Ffionian – Efof's race, who were supposed to be extinct. Her name is Fferna and she encourages the Blue Dwarf to help her race out in a war with their enemy the “Halkons”. The Blue Dwarf destroys a Halkon target called the “gatehouse”.
