Phil Febuggure dies... again

Second-in-command of the Blue Dwarf Phil Febuggure has died... again.
The First officer and friend to Captain Chrysler died in an unfortunate accident in a post by Andy Longman. The moment when Phil died was only a short paragraph.
"Smeg..." Jay said "Can't we ever catch a break, and will people PLEASE stop dying?"
As he said this, the drive room doors slid open, and Phil stepped in, only for a plasma conduit to explode, Star Trek style from a lucky shot by a Mollopod ship, that burned his face off and killed him instantly.

But isn't the first time Phil has died, or even the second. Phil died once, and his ghost posessed Jay's customised Blue Midget, the 'Phoenix' before coming back to life again. Phil Febuggure died again in April 2009 after surviving a series of dangerous situations to finally die by undramatically licking a battery. You can see the post from last time Phil died here.
Phil then came back, or at least it was a Phil from a parallel universe. His experiences were slightly different, but his character was just the same.
In the same post where Phil died for the second time, Amber Keats was promoted to replace Phil as First officer, only to be promoted to acting-Captain a few minutes later after Jay Chrysler was fired by an Admiral. The Admiral blamed Chrysler for the death of Queen Brittany, the dissolution of the alliance with the Mollopods, and the faked CCTV footage of him deliberately destroying Ambassador Niples' apartment.
