Red Dwarf hits iTunes
Added : 26th April 2009
That's right, as of now you can download Series 1 of Red Dwarf on I-tunes and watch on your PC, on the move, or like me, at your desk when you're pretending to work.
All the series will eventually become available, at a rate of a series-per-month, and will cost £9.99 each, or individual episodes can be purchased for the low low price of £1.89.
You can't buy that kind of value.
Well..ok you can..on I-tunes...
Course most of us will have it on DVD by now, but does that let you watch on a tiny tiny screen while you're in the kazi?
No. Thought not.
So go! Download and be free! Those Future Echoes aren't gonna watch themselves you know!!
Or...
JUNE 15th
Why is this date significant?
Because that's when Back to Earth will be available to buy on DVD.
The two-disc set will include the original broadcast version as seen on Dave, as well as a directors cut, slapping them all together into one big episode with no doubt, extra footage.
We'll more than certainly see special features on the second disc too, most likely the making of Back to Earth, originally seen on Easter Sunday and perhaps some new smeg ups.
In the meantime you can track the progress of the DVD's production at www.reddwarf.co.uk. - Personally, I wanna see a Blu-Ray version, though this may be because I'm a smug twat.
So! Get on Play.com and get ordering, or get down HMV on release day, either way, GO! BUY! WATCH!
