Parrotts bar
Parrotts' is the most common drinking place on the Blue Dwarf.
A typical old-fashioned British pub with authentic wooden stools, dirty toilets and authentic barflies included. One or two drunken brawls guaranteed every day!
Parrotts is the place where most crewmembers go to unwind after a busy work day, or where they go to avoid a busy work day. Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest, where it turns into a full-on club, Sunday is karaoke night. The staff are adventurous at mixing spirits and will try their best to create any and every cocktail known to man, or gelf, or alien. There is a limited selection of beer, mostly just labelled generic "beer" which is often warm, but Parrotts hosts a different beer every month, offering a selection from across the galaxy.
There is a pool table and a darts board for those drinkers who are feeling athletic.
Throughout the years, many battles have been fought in Parrotts, but it has always been rebuilt in the same rudimentary style, sticking two fingers up at modernism and remaining a classic old man's pub.
The misspelling of the word "parrot" is intentional due to the bar's first sign above the door having a the same error which now remains for novelty value.
