Laser Pistols/Rifles
With a bit less bang as the bazookoid, the Space Corps. Standard issue laser pistols and rifles are designed for actual combat.
These weapons are considerably safer, lacking the tell-tale ‘boom’ of a bazookoid, and thus reducing the risk of explosive decompression of JMC and Space Corps. vessels; but they are still incredibly powerful in their own right – sort of like comparing a scalpel to a hack saw.
